February 15th was the anniversary of Willie P Bennett’s passing.

At the 26th Annual International Folk Alliance Conference, Kenny was invited to perform his “Willie We Miss Ya” at the showcase.  Kenny’s performance was the only non-Willie composition.

Thanks to Linda McRae, Ken Whiteley and Darwin Baker for sitting in with Kenny when they opened the event.  “Willie We Miss Ya” is from the new CD Troubadour Tales due out in June 2014. Thanks also to Shawna Cooper and Jaxon Haldane for putting all this together.

The picture is of Willie P jamming at Kenny’s Canadian hideaway (many years ago).
