Joanne, if you want a man,
Call my name, I’ll understand.
If you need a lover,
who wants no other,
Call my name, Joanne.
A lady, refined with grace,
I love to gaze at your beautiful face.
A woman with sensuous style,
Oh I adore your beautiful smile.

I know you have Mr. Right,
I’m sure that he’s, he’s a swell guy.
But if in time he should leave,
I hope that you, will remember me.

Song Notes

The first song I ever wrote and one of the first I ever recorded. This song is about strong, deep feelings of love for an idealized woman who was my first true love. Joanne has been an inspiration for my art for many many years!
